Purrlock Holmes and the Great Art Escapade is a mystery puzzle game created for as the final project for the second year of college. I spent about five months working on it, programming it, creating the art, gathering the assets used and finally coming up with the story and writing the dialogue for it.
You play as Purrlock Holmes, setting foot in the middle of solving a crime where a mysterious jewel has disappeared from a museum. However, it turns out the mystery goes much deeper, as it is revealed that Whisker Watson, the culprit, was threatened by an evil organization to do it.
Purrlock and his new companion Watson must solve the mysteries left behind the organization and eventually put a stop to their crimes.
Players can interact with certain objects and talk to other people, potentially revealing some evidence, which is recorded in the notebook. The notebook shows all evidence collected and additional insight on them, additionally players can write notes which can help them make sense of the mystery.
Players can also use Purrlock's goggles as a forensic tool, finding paw prints and secrets to the crime.
