Ink's Desolation was made for the first semester of University as a programming assignment. I wanted to challenge myself and incorporate wall-running in the likes of Rayman Legends/Origins and I believe I have successfully done that, alongside implementing general good game feel for platforming.
The player can:
Move left and right.
Jump at varying heights depending on how long the jump button has been pressed.
Unlock abilities such as running and wall-running.
A camera that follows ahead of the player.
Two different enemies for the player to dodge.
Collectables to guide the player.
