Blobbo's Adventure was made for the first year and first semester of University, where the task was to create two simple 3D scenes using the Unity Engine and any 3D software. I chose to use Blender as that was the software I was most familiar with.
While gameplay wasn't the main task, I still incorporated some, for example Blobbo can roll down slopes and build momentum, or moving platforms that challenges the player.
I also included a cannon the player can shoot out of, which also transitions to the next scene, this was done using DOTween and DOJump.
I modelled everything using Blender, I used various techniques, including using basic shapes and extruding for the castle, curves for the beanstalk, Metaball spheres to create clouds, and finally curves again for the curved pathways/hallways Blobbo can roll around.
